Day 18

Here is an actual note of how I should prepare for the race, I wrote it at work and left it there over the weekened. Pretend for a moment you don't know what I am doing and you're my boss and you find this sitting on my desk.

  1. I think if I was your boss and came across that note:

    1) I would have stopped at "Run with bricks"
    2) Would have made a mental note to fire you on Monday.

  2. So I gather all you know of training is what you learned from the movie Rocky! You may not win this bike race, but you would definitely win a bout with Apollo Creed ,who incidentally is 61 years old now!

  3. Speaking of Rocky, I remembered a few more things he did to train. His regimen definitely evolved over the thirty years I watched him train. When he was 60 years old, he added two great things to the program. He wandered around lifting a bunch of big chains over his head, like he was Jacob Marley. And he lifted barrels over his head and threw them, like he was Donkey Kong. None of it worked, though...Mason Dixon still wiped the floor with him.
